The artworks of this artist are sure very effective, and the artist portrays a clear message. With the strong and vivid colours her artworks are eye catching. However, for my taste, the images are a bit too strong, nearly violent. Especially when the artwork includes a distorted face. To me, this seems kind of disturbing, and very negative. But I do agree that they are very effective in their own way.
On the other hand, I like some of the artworks, for example the one in the blog. Even though it does have red and only dark colours, which create a negative atmosphere most of the time, this is not really the case here. The technique used is paint, but then, on certain areas this paint is scratched away to create some texture and some pattern on the image. Otherwise, it is just blended, with some highlights. However, it seems as if it was not painted with a brush, but rather with some kind of sponge. All in all, the artwork is interesting due to this texture and eye catching due to the colours.
